Re:

Thank you Justi. It is the late spring frosts that sometimes do the damage.

Re: Kabu

Well it has taken 4years from a seed so I hope the flower lasts. Birds just ignore the food this year even big fat raisins and fat balls. Just a few pigeons and Cole tits .

Re: adnohr

Perhaps there are more surprises in our minds than we ever think possible adnohr. I suppose even the geese do not want to bother with a long journey if they can avoid doing so.

Re: Krisles

It has been a wild winter here in Maryland. I am amazed by it...Things do have a way of working out.

One of your more special poems....I have saved it.  I grew smaller and smaller, so that I remember feeling like I was sinking down, down, down...but it was so peaceful...and melty-like, when they almost lost me the night I had my heart attack.  There was no fear, whatsoever because it was nice....like this poem feels, just moving from one place to another.

A near-death experience? I have faith in those, and you told it so well. The animals are confused - I saw some Canadian geese flying over just before Christmas, and they are usually long gone from this area by then.

I do hope your plants are spared the early sun and not freeze later. I loved the poem. God bless and keep you.
