Yarn is so expensive in the store.  I am making a blanket for my grandson and it is going to cost over 30 to make it!  It would have been much cheaper to just buy one....sigh

I have a friend who, like you, gets seduced by bags of yarn. Ity's so cute to watch her delight when she discovers bags such as you described here.

I love your description of the two hats, and I love the fact that you were "...seduced by a bag of yarn."

Yes I wonder why you did not bundle the best yarn up for yourself . Remember as  kids we used to make long lengths of odd wool with cotton reels and four tacks on the top..

Speaking as a writing coach...

the important thing is to get the story on the page. A narrative does that with more grace than an outline, establishing a map of the territory. Once you know the whole map, it is a lot easier to focus in more tightly on scenes with action and dialog.

pictures would be lovely. I know how delicious it is to receive those little loving gifts. Wiley is perfect at it. It may not happen for ao long and then for no reason except love, he arrives home with that special something that says I love U.

ps...re your comment at my post, everytime I look at that poor owl I get the giggles.
