sometimes one has to look at updating a law. If I carried a gun I would shoot myself accidently for sure.

True, a thrill which ought to be curbed. Especially when it so easily ends up being mixed with other lower tendencies like drinking and quick tempers. On the other hand if there's a person so moved by such tendencies like murder then even without a gun they'll find something else. Hence one of the first things I said was, removing guns would not remove all problems. But a little caution can be a good start in avoiding trouble.

I do think it would be wise to up restrictions a bit. Not taking guns away from the entire nation. That won't fix all our problems. Just have more requirments that need to be met before someone can purchase a gun perhaps. Such as well documented reasons for why he requirs the weapon. That would certainly be better than some stranger with unknown intention just getting a gun with no questions asked.
