It sort of takes away the concept of free will until I think of it like I brought up my teenage boys.
I told them the cjoices were theirs. The straighter path would lead to ....and the crooked path would lead to.... Then I sort of let them make discoveries for themselves and when they started down the crooked path i showed them how difficult it was becoming for them.
But Meek implies in our society allowing one self to be bullied, tortured robbed. I don't believe that is the true meaning.
