I am an only child and all our grandchildren are only children. I think some more study should be done on that. I, as I am older, feel there is a lot in simple life inter-actions that one just does not get as an only child. A lot of positive and a lot of negative.

My kids father was/is a wizz at cards and for 18 years I had to play, always with someone else as a partner so that he could win...long story...so cards have an absolutely 100% different concept for me.BUT...having said that, it is wonderful to have family traditions that live on through the generations.

We had a very warm Christmas as well. It is amazing how warm it has been.
I remember after my sister and I found out about Santa, Mom would still label the From as Santa.

I don't think I would want to play cards with you K. I think I would lose my stack of chips too easily. As kids we used to play for matches, sweets were too valuable when the ration was two onces a week. Happy new year.
