and now they have mobile banking which means you can take a pic of it with your cell and deposit without going to an ATM or bank!

ATM's are very handy, especially if the bank hours are the same as your working hours an you always make it there 5 minutes after they close. Does that sound like it's my experience?

Banking is so different from back when I had my first bank account in 1955. Actually everything is different since then--the place I worked is gone, the bank is gone, the hospital where my children were born is gone, practically everyone I liked in movies is now dead, most of my family is gone... and here I sit doing everything by computer.

I mainly have derect deposit and debit. Saves me trouble between here and Australia.

Yes I always check my account before making a withdrawal even if I kick the machine afterwards.
