Well the weather here is dry, dark and cold but no snow but fudge would taste good.

Something about this dark overcast weather - even if it isn't

ordinary winter cold - makes me crave chocolate. Your home made fudge sounds like just the ticket!

It seems like every week the effect of El Nino changes. I remember when El Nino was going to cause Maryland to have average snowfall, then us getting walloped. We'll just have to wait and see from the way things are going.

I do hope that El Nino gets bored and leaves Kansas so that your grand ones can have snow at Christmas.

Re: CCT

Taps...I just have to warn those wanting to substitute milk chocolate chips will find this fudge extra-extra sweet due to the condensed milk. I prefer milk over dark chocolate myself in fine chocolates but I love this recipe, too. And have made it with every kind of combo and always find the semi-sweet chocolate chips and condensed milk and lots of nuts (pecans and walnuts) make the perfect fudge!

Re:

Yes.  I just personally like the dark choc best.  Milk chocolate does the same (12 oz choc to one can sweetened condensed milk.)

It's down to the 50s today here. No party but refreshments at work on Saturday love.

This sounds so easy and delicious. I may try that. I am afraid I will wear it since I am not expecting guest for Christmas.

I don't like dark chocolate Taps, would fruit and nut milk chocolate be suitable do you think? I made some Crystallized Ginger but it was so hot I have to nibble at the darn stuff.
