Re:
WL, I don't mind your 'raging' at all, as long as you don't rage at me, LOL...I think there's plenty of cause for rage...

Re:
GM, thanks for your comment! As I have observed on other occasions, we do have a lot in common! One of the differences is highlighted by the fact that you see in me a Jeremiah, a reference I understand of course but would not have chosen. Instead, I see myself more as a male Cassandra, being rather partial to the Greek tradiiton...(and no, I am not Greek, LOL)

The statitistics rattled me. The letters WTF and a question mark popped into my brain like a bolt of lightening.
What I was most drawn to though was the label 'nurturing community' as it reminds me of the ongoing debate associated with nature versus nurture. In our journey to become tolerant we have become intolerant of the truth. Hmmm...might it be a direct correlation to the production of the rose colored spectacles currently on the market? You know, the ones our very own industries can't seem to produce fast enough???
We (any group allowing a nurturing community) have become systematic entitiies of enablers and good deed doers. Sorry to tell you folks, good intentions can deter progress and devastate just as equally and swiftly as bad ones. We have wolves in sheep's clothing who don't even realize that they are wolves in sheep's clothing. Hello folks, keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep getting what you're getting.
Carry on, Naut. Sorry for raging up your post.

Reading this entry reminds me that many people have not learned from history. And of course, that means we are doomed to repeat it...

Nautikos-- wow, even I am shocked by these high percentages of people in England who "support ISIS". What the hell is wrong with them?? ISIS would gladly behead them, given the chance. I recall a quote from somewhere: "We have met the enemy, and it is us". The West is becoming a haven of insanity.
I read that book by Walid Shoebat, "Why I Left Jihad: The Root of Terrorism", and he is right on, with his comparison of Nazism and Islam. I think I know what is coming in your next post, but I won't be a spoiler.
Thanks for your incredible moral insight into this crucial conflict of cultures and civilizations, and the coming disaster for us. I see it too, but you write about it better. You are like an Old Testament prophet, warning the Hebrews of the coming destruction. Maybe we should start calling you Jeremiah.
Cheers
