I know about 'things' getting in the way, about 'I'll look after it later', in short - about procrastinating - but that doesn't mean you should give up writing and trying! And it has nothing to do with being or not being an 'introvert' - many writers were (are) 'introverts', possibly even with hermitic tendencies, LOL...And when you write to publishers, there is absolutely no need to tell them your age - hell, you can even lie!
What does your age have to do with the price of bananas? It has as much to do with your writing, other than maybe that you're writing from more experience...
