Comments on The Limits of God Part 2

Nautikos--  I was kidding about the short length of the post.  I just needed a transition to the next post, which will be longer.

I knew you were going to have some fun with this, and so will I.  I don't know about the Deity's limited capabilities, either.  This is merely a hypothesis.  Your religious outlook, or lack of it, completely rejects the idea of any deity.  To me, this is an extreme position.

Most other people migrate to the other extreme,  that the Deity must be omnipotent.  To me, this also is an extreme position.  I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.  That is where I am seeking it  (the truth).  I do not think I have discovered anything,  I am just seeking, and wanting to exchange ideas about it.

Cheers

I guess so, LOL...You see, I have no problem with big chunks, having offered them myself on occasion. But I have adapted to the popular demand for brevity...

About the rest - I am completely out of my depth. I know absolutely nothing even about the deity's limited capabilities, his philosophy, political views, idiosyncrasies or even his taste in music (I should hope he prefers Bach, Handel and Mozart to punk rock, but I don't know!) And I could also lengthen the list of things he shouldn't have allowed, the Plagues, Auschwitz, the Holodomor, the Gulags, HIV, etc., etc...But again, as I said, I am completely at a loss here...

Nautikos--  was that a small enough, bite-size nugget, like a single dark chocolate peanut M&M?? (my favorite candy)
