Yes, it's too bad, but I think small, independent businesses of any kind are struggling, trying to compete with the big-box stores...

Would you buy shares in a book store Pat. One can just flick through thousands if one has a reader. I happened to go into a bookstore yesterday and I was fascinated by a display of dictionaries . They were so tempting but I bought one 60 years ago for £5 a fortune nearly and I probably have 6 more kicking around beside two from discs. The minimum wage is going up here, it will make it hard for small shopkeepers,well the few that are left.

It is very easy to find items for people nowadays with all of the convenience that comes from technology, although it seems like people are getting harder and harder to shop for.
