Naut

You asked for comments; however, I feel you do not want my comments. You have stopped reading my main blog. If all people have the same opinions regarding anything how can there be need for conversation. I love the depth of your blogs; however, I don't always agree. I do have an opinion on this; however, it will not be acceptable. It is Biblical.

That could be the worry , clone a brain dead Army . Or an army bred to fight. Sometimes it vaguely worries me thinking of how we devour meat as if it made from plastic.

I do find cloning to be a major concern and not something humans should participate in. Just because something is scientifically possible does not mean we should do it.

Eventually, someone is going to clone a person. There is always going to be a rebal. It is a matter of when, and I am of the belief, it will be a sad day for humankind.

Pandora's Box is opened and, like all technologic and scientific advances, it will be taken too far until it is a detriment.  Mankind never knows when to stop.

I'll give Krisles (retired?) this one.. The post's interesting. Simply put, I wouldn't want to eat any Naut.

I've listened to a few discussions on this, and somewhat related, issues recently on various shows.  Most recently, I think it was last weekend there was a somewhat heated discussion about the FDA having approved salmon that came from labs originally and they don't have to be labeled any differently.  Supposedly, they can't get into the regular population.  Pandora's Box is opened and, like all technologic and scientific advances, it will be taken too far until it is a detriment.  Mankind never knows when to stop.  Depending on your philosophic/religious beliefs, that is another discussion.

There are certain people - those who could afford to produce a

clone of thermselves - whom I fervently wish never conclude that might be a way to ensure their "immortality." The thing is, the biological clay may be cloned, but the thoughts and experiences that went into the original are not there - the hard drive has not been writ.  While a cloned 4-legged creature may seem just like the original, the human - it seems to me - would only be a blank-slate copy.  I would like to see the scientists working on splicing genes to delete the coding that passes on cancer or other defects bring that to the ordinary practice of medicine, and something I saw on TV yesterday - a lady geneticist, says they can treat cancer using the new Spritzer (?) technology within two years.
