A very interesting read about faith and reason and how Islam fits into it. I wonder how soon, if ever, reason will overtake Islam. Right now, there is a lot of work to be done.

Interesting post, from both viewpoints.
The "as a child" idea/philosophy is interesting when you think about what a little bitty kid does in order to learn about the world. What we think of as play is a constant testing of hypotheses, attempts and fails, curiosity, experiments, results, conclusions. Babies, toddlers, all the way to old age, if we do what comes naturally, we're still doing what we did before we could walk or speak a language fluently - we're guesstimating, wondering, experimenting, checking it out. And even as now, living dangerously at times.
