What indiscretions? Do tell us more.
I expect the nurse doesn't get many gifts like that - I'm sure you made her day! Lovely, deep poem as always.

There is always something bothersome or painful with each one of us it seems, and moreso as time goes by. I'm sorry that you and Arthur ar both having some problems. I hope each of you will come out of it and not be any worse for the wear. I liked your poem, only in writing the above, I have already forgotten what I was going to write about the verse. (That forgetting thing is one of my maladies it seems).

mismatched socks is all the rage among the youth. My granddaughter hasn't worn a pair that matches since she was a toddler and she's ten now!

Seems the socks and perfume may be meant for togetherness Bro.

Re: It's amazing to read about your medical visits, and the way you
I suppose as one ages one becomes less self conscious Pat. Or folk just put up with ones little foibles. I expect I am like you I don't bother to go to the surgery, but other folk keep advising one to do so. Yes I shall be fine might have to just take a tiny dose each day.

Re: Krisles
Yes well I only bunged it in for an opener, I can live with it . I don't really eat a lot of messes K. I like to keep to about 11 stone. Your hug is lovely. I do tend to find I berate myself for indiscretions, but it is better than somethings maybe. Goodness is that what it is in the tummy I thought it was Goblins.

Re: Katray
Yes Kat it is a nuisance, but but I guess one has to put up with things. You are always so brave it seems pitiful for me to complain about simple maladies. I am wary when folk ask how I am keeping. It always means a lurid description of their many problems
.

I tend to wear mismatched socks a lot. I saw on Shark Tank a clip that keeps sock pairs together...You have a way of touching upon the emotions.

You are such a generous caring soul. The microwave and the perfume were both kind jestures. You know I love your poetry always.

Hope you feel much improved soon, C C T! And that Archie's test
is normal. I wear mis-matched socks around family; no shame...:) Good bribe for the nurse. I really enjoyed the introspective poem; well done...

Well, I could tell from the word itself what polymyalgia meant, but I had to look it up to get more aquainted with the condition and, as I expected....yet another autoimmune culprit. My daughter has RA, and it will only get worse; but I am trying and trying to get her to explore dietary attacks...and I would do the same with you - there end of my lecture, but I'm sending you a feel better
and ((((HUG))))). Now, otherwise...I think guilt, remorse, regret, sentimental 'what if's' that tend to roll around in our brains - if we are the type to much introspection - as we get older, somewhat like the gas that tend to roll around in our digestive systems

It's amazing to read about your medical visits, and the way you
relate to everyone around you. What a fine day you bring to them me: perfume for the nurse, live-and-let-live among your cohorts, and unmatched socks. It's wonderful. I hope the steroid tabs bring about an improvement, without damaging your ability to write...
