No surprise that I agree with everything you said.  I don't think this issue is going the way of 9/11, because I think this is going to be the new normal.  And, listening to a variety of Fox, CNN and now, PBS, today, it has been very interesting to note that the media is almost uniformally shocked at Obama's speech today at the G20 and, depending on how far left they are (I'm watching PBS right now so it's much more obvious) they are really struggling with how to process all of this.  Since I watch Fox most of the time, I don't have the same perspective you do that these issues are not talked about all the time.....luckily, they most definitely are in some quarters.

We are at a very critical juncture when it comes to the Islamic invasion that is happening under our noses...But like Adnohr said, people do not really understand the tragedy. I am going to add that all most people are doing is putting the French flag on their Facebook pages. The support is nice, but it does not get to the crux of the problem. Once this gets out of the news cycle, things will more or less go back to the way they have been after 9/11.

Unfortunately, and sadly, I think you may be right. Just from reading the comments on Facebook, one can see that people are reacting, but with no knowledge of what this tragic event really means.

Surely an Islam who would say, "That's not my Islam!" has no idea what his Islam really is or teaches.   That is sad.  They are in for a rude awakening at some point.
