Re: PP

Naut,  I have renamed this doll "Ladybug" which explains the facepaint a little better.

Re:

Annicita, don't paint circles on your face.  You are beautiful as you are

Re:Why?

I don't know why I painted circles on her face!  I would probably remove the one on her chin if I could take her back and repaint her.  But someone liked her well enough to buy her that way!   I am sad for her now that she must go through life with all those circles on her face.  Maybe she deserved what she got

I think I should give you a good talking to

Fancy, well little guilty one, those spots

I cannot understand why you undid beauty,

Did you think it would give the guys the hots?

Perhaps she is like someone I have seen

Quite a rare bloom, but time will be gentle

fading only slowly and gracefully between

my dreams which are positively sentimental.

You did a very fine job designing her.

Re: Dolls

Yeah, I made dolls continuously for about 5 years of my life.  One of them ended up on the White House Christmas tree and now housed in their archives, so I did sort of reach the top in dollmaking.  I still think about making one now and then but have become quite lazy and prefer to write poetry.

isn't she pretty, isn't she lovely...not sure about the chin dot, but as you say you were in a period of somewhere when you made her.

Dolls like this must be worth heaps of money.
