Re: adnohr,
i know, I know... Hug your doggies and stay on the ground! But in my next life, I think I will choose to have wings. Or choose flying as my super-power.

Re: CCT,
Yes, I'd have had a few more pictures if my spare battery had not been in the camera case I lost in Olympia. Luckily, that was all that was in it, as my camera was clutched in my paw at the time. I bought a new case but forgot to get another battery.
Photos will be up soon!

Re: Blue feathers,
Happily, they stayed out of the fierce weather, though doing so added many hours and much inconvenience to the trip. There were some nice people I'd never have met, if that all had not happened.

Re: Annicita,
And those photos are going to be edited and displayed any day now... I have been editing despite visual challenges to close work.

Re: TAPS,
Enjoyment sometimes comes retrospectively. But most of the time was actually enjoyable--Finally, finally had a flight over the Grand Canyon, though only for a few minutes, and just a bit of it. But finally--pictures from above!
Of course, even photos from the rim of the Grand Canyon have an aerial quality.

Re: Pat,
Texas is not my first choice of places to be, but only because some of the people are so... well... of worldviews counter to my own. The land itself was lovely to fly over, and I look forward to getting some photos up soon.

Re: Kabu,
The worst bit is when people are somewhere waiting for you. The second worst is trying to sleep in the airport when you absolutely have no other choice. Suddenly, I have choices, and that seems to make a great difference in my annoyance /frustration/panic factor.

I love to fly, but not sure I would have been to calm in that weather..

I don't think I've ever been to Texas, even on layover...
Although I saw some guys in boots, cowboy hats and ranger badges in Arizona when I was there. Nice place to visit.

Just what everyone loathes the thought of. Big delays, wondering what is happening, and caught in the jail house flying bus. Connections missed, flights cancelled. Such Fun...Not.
