I like driving long distances as well. I enjoy the road. The weather has been nice and warm.

You make me want to go again like I did so often, driving myself to FL to visit Son #2 or to OR or CO or NM. I loved it. It's not the same when you are riding with someone else.

I'm so glad you're taking us along on your trip.....it sounds like a wonderful drive. I wish you could post a photo here and there like Ciel does, but your descriptions are often so vivid they can substitute. Stay safe, although I'm sure you are the world's greatest driver!

One thing Naut the Brits believed they would get a better life and they probably did. The big thing here or will be I think, folk have a saliva test etc. They want to prove 100% British I suppose. A friend of mine who thought he could trace his parentage proved to be 55% Danish. Well I suppose we were invaded once.
