Same here, often at parties I feel out of place. Forever the odd one out. There have only been a couple of exceptions. Glad I'm not the only one.

The last time I joined a group women they were all in a circle but I wanted to say hello to a cousin. I pushed my way in between two buxom ladies and tried to catch my cousin's eye. That's funny I thought she looks different, well it was not my cousin at all so I had to withdraw from the close circuit and walk nonchalantly away.
