I have definitely read books like that, and loved them. But you know how the mind fails when you are reaching for something specific. If one comes to mind, I will snatch it to me and write it down before I forget again.

It's embarrassing: I do have a lot of books, but very few funny ones...The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is Stuart McLean, Extreme Cafe, a collection of fun and funny stories...

Naturally my mind has gone blank. LOL...I can only think of Australian books but the language is so Aussie, I would be needed to interpret so i will keep thinking...Show them a Wiley Coyote cartoon. I loved those cartoons. Couldn't believe it when I first came to Blogit and there was this chap here called Wiley Coyote...i just had to read him and the rest of course is History.
