At my old apartment in the yard in the pool at my doorstep there was a tadpole, swimming around love.

Fun as always, but I would not use a BB gun to scare the cats. Having said that, I really don't have an answer to this problem...

Well I bought a cat scarer, supposed not to hurt the cats, just make them uncomfortable in the area. I would have preferred one that squirted water at them, but it would not work if frost was around. The trouble with my last cat scarer was that it went funny and a distraught neighbor was accusing everyone one of driving her up the wall with the high noise. I really think your best bet would to go to Amazon and get a high powered water pistol. If you don't make your garden a no cat zone, all your next years baby birds will simply be exterminated. Now frogs, you could leave it a little tray of water, if they have not got a pond they like to settle in a moist place along side a building etc. Robins will eat baby frogs.

wonderful, to have animals to share you retreat with. I too love to see all our other residents from time to time.

There was a male guinea fowl eating pods from one of the trees yesterday. a splendid bird to watch.

There is a lot of nature around, and I love observing it.
