Re: adnohr
Thanks so much. Definitely it was a hot game, and so close at the end. It could have gone either way. Loved the sudden ending, of course.

Re: Naut
Son #1 says you are a man after his own heart. He loved your comment here and the fact that you do so well at not holding a grudge for more than five minutes (LOL). Just like he didn't gloat for more than five minutes. The ending of that ballgame was so close it could have gone either way.

The Royals got the job done, I see. It is going to be an interesting series. I feel the Royals will do it. They have the experience, and normally when a team gets a long playoff layoff like the Mets have (they beat the Cubs quickly), they tend to struggle.

Congratulations! I was hoping, naturally, but I had already recognized - the Royals are simply better than the Jays! We have some really big guns, but only a couple of 'em were firing properly - not enough against a very well-rounded team...So I shall root for the Royals in the World Series, of course...

Congrats to Kansas City, and the Royals! Looking forward to
the Series. I was sorry the Cubbies didn't take the NL pennant, but that's how it goes.

A great last game for this series! Slightly sad here at the outcome...but not too much in my case. My Habs remain unbeaten after 8 games, and hockey is my first choice of sport, and I know how happy you feel to see your team move on. Congratulations!!
