Re: Re:
it has a different affect on everyone and how one reacts is just the way it is. I have seen experienced medicals freeze and others jump in and work like crazy. I always had to have a cigarette in those days when it was all over one way or the other.

Well, I've been on the receiving end.....I remember flashes from that night....all the people "crashing" into the room around my bed....and a voice over my head coming through the intercom asking, "Have we lost her?"....the shock of my gown being yanked open....and just lots of cold. I could go on and on with the memory flashes. But the main memory is of all the faces, and the caring I saw in their eyes...the relief when I responded....the love. I will never, ever forget that.

It hasn't been all that long since I was running when code blue was called. I couldn't run down a hallway now if my life depended on it.

Cold Blue or Code Blue?
Annicita, I always thought the words were : CODE BLUE, meaning someone in real distress needing help right away. Let me know. Jackie

Code blue is always chilling; people know what it means...
My hopes added for the person who coded; that they pulled through and are recovering. And hopes for your Mom's continued recovery and wellness.

That was a lot of excitement there with someone in the hospital experiencing code blue. I would be a bundle of nerves with that. Like you, I hope the person is okay.
