It is amazing the amount of hatred one can possess. It is extremely scary.

Even though I know this is true, it is hard for me to grasp that kind of hatred for another people.  So sick.

Thank you for sharing this one....I've already forwarded it to my daughter and a couple of friends (hopefully, my email will work!).  Luckily, as I've mentioned, there are a lot of folks who are aware of what a powder keg the world is right now....most of them are called Republicans from what I can tell, and I had hoped they would be able to get into the White House in '16 but am now getting concerned because of all their in-fighting, which is what happened last time.  I have some other thoughts but they were turning into a post and I'm watching the Benghazi hearing.

Hamas is into a violent, hate filled extremist organization,

so why would anything one of their clerics say be shocking?

Of course it is very worrying that these radicals are so able to tap into the suffering, resentments and frustrations created by the occupation and the apparent impossibility of a peace agreement between Israel and Palestinians. In my view, (not that it matters to you or anyone else, but I'm putting it out here regardless) both sides need to budge and start working together for their mutual survival. I think we all have worries haunting us at times; different ones for different people, I guess - mine is a nuclear holocaust (has been ever since I was a young teenager and realized the potential horrors of superpower jostling for supremacy) and the current day oppositional situation in Syria between the U.S. and Russia has heightened those worries.
