I know that "just right" euphoria too, lol

And yes, a coattailer here. My problem is I no longer have good enough health to keep up with the compulsion; frustrating. But I still find ways to nest to my standards; only my standards now aren't as exacting, deep, wide and high as they once were, haha. Good post...

i don't know how to answer this. I have been through so many stages, trying out all those genes I guess. Right now I have checked out what my girls want and I give things away right and left. They have been staged in so many ways, for so many purposes and not their value though greater in monetary value, less far less, in personal value.

I have a nesting Gene I am sure. I love the now out of date Cottage effect where I surround myself with what I love. I don't like painting walls so I cover them with art, valuable plates, photos ...stuff.

And like my Mother became, I now seem to nestle either in my bedroom half and my section of the living room. Once I am happy with something I seldom move it...Oh you remind me, I need to dust it all. Sigh!

Like Naut, I like to think that I have a sloppy gene as well.

There are times when I have that Goldilocks jean going into effect. Generally, it occurs at work.

Krisles

Dunno; but when I look around my study, I hope there's a 'Sloppy Gene' - if not, it would be my fault...
