I get Arthur to cut my hair, not that it matters I had always cut it myself for at least twenty years. I was never happy at the result so I only had myself to blame.

It sounds like a case of cutting off the hand that feeds you. She may never learn but it is a sad situation. Rudeness is never a winner.

Betty surely doesn't seem to have the temperament needed
for owning a business. It's remarkable how many people think arrogance and a superior attitude will bring success; I see it here in my small town via the two diners we have that change hands on a regular basis. Glad your regular stylist is still available; I tend to bounce around with hair people, but I only go for trims occasionally..
