- Go to Two-hat days
Well that's a relief--I don't think I have ever worn two hats at one time.

Pat
A commendable project; meanwhile, I would still like to see some of these creations of yours...

Great idea, Pat-B. When I was working with the homeless, we would have a tuque and sock drive at work, and people would bring in bags of stuff for me to take to the Center. Believe me - it is much appreciated when the colder weather hits!

I crocheted neck scarves with 2 strands instead of just one to make them nice and thick for the homeless.

LOL...actually what you are doing is one of the best ways of helping others that I know of. Hats and socks. Socks for men especially can be all the ones that lost their partner. if your feet can't get warm you don't care if the colors don't match.
But another thing is Teddy bears..knitted Teddy bears. For traumatised people in refugee camps. They evidently will cling to a knitted Teddy bear, never let it go. It's the comfort thing and the owning something again thing.
