Re: Justi

Justi paraffin is £5 or over in a gallon plastic can. As a boy we delivered 70 gallons for

that price. Amazing when one looks back.

Re: The flower's pretty face speaks Sun and good care..:)

Thank you Kat, you are so thoughtful, I know you have enough pain to bear and yet manage to create beauty in your words. I really only joke about the pain, I think the chiropodist is sweating as well.

Oh that gorgeous flower. I cannot imagine paying that price for wood. Groceries would be going into the stove. Wow!!! Missing you.

The flower's pretty face speaks Sun and good care..:)

Yowzer though, your poor big toe - made mine curl and try to hide! The poem is so deep and meaningful; yearning for love to be everything we feel and hope...well done in pain - pain and misery can bring out creativity, but your creativity is most fine pain free, C C T, so wishing you a speedy recovery and no more ingrowns!

Re: Re:

whatever happened to the UK health service!!!! That is just evil to charge that much for a shot....do try the ice before and after the procedure. Ten minutes is way too long to suffer that sort of pain. Nurses don't believe in suffering too much pain. Can you also swallow a couple of analgesic pills half hour before she starts.

Re:

Well the pain only lasts ten or so minutes Kabu ,but I will try to ice it next time. The good news, she did say she is going to take a course in analgesia or similiar. The bad news it will cost £80 to £100 a shot.

Re: Re: Re:

I thought they were giving it away- I did look it up  a Cord in our ratty decimalization is 3.6 metres. I am trying to get you a cheap quote from the local paper.

Re: Re:

I expressed that wrong, CCT. It went UP by $30 a cord - which means it is now $120.00 Canadian dollars for a cord of wood as compared to $90.00 last year. That is split and delivered, and supposed to be a year dry...which is not always the case. A cord is 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by 8 feet long.

Don't you dare cut down trees Wiley not even for out Chiff Chaff. LOL. i am sorry about the toe luv. Seems to me that she is not treating it correctly if it always grows back in and you need a bit of something for the pain. Try putting ice on the are before she comes next time. the cold should reduce the pain.

Re:

Crikey that seems like a lot of wood for a few dollars. I am going to work out how much that would cost here in CDN dollars. I would imagine you can have a house as warm as toast in winter. We don't do cords here so I will have to work it out

Re: Your visit to the foot doctor took me back to my own fun and games

Well I was not too happy when she said I'll be back in two months I hope this is not going to be an ongoing saga at £28 a hit. Older age is becoming too expensive Pat.

Your visit to the foot doctor took me back to my own fun and games

with an ingrown toenail. I don't really want to remember that, and I hope you'll soon be able to forget there was ever a problem with yours... Thank you for the poetry and the flower photo.

No fun with the foot doctor, I see...A powerful conclusion the speaker arrives at.

I felt like I was torturing you just by reading about your toe.
I made some cranberry juice and some cranberry sauce this morning out of the seasons first cranberries.

OUCH!! on the toe. The flower completes that lovely poem. I heat with wood too, and it went up $30 CDN dollars a cord here - in the middle of the bush! I don't know yet what price in town.
