That was a funny exchange between you and Son about the cardinal and the car...I wish Son #3 well in losing weight.

Logistics are not all they are cracked up to be since they do not take into account the fraility of man involved in the details of the operation.

Re the logistics: Son#3 could drive his own car to the hospital. You look after Phil. After that is dne you and Son #1 drive down to pick up #3; you take him home and Son #1 drives #3's car home. Then you all have a party at Son #3's place, after which you and # 1 return home...Mind you, you being the 'designated driver' will have to stick to coke or lemonade...

son not to worry - the worst part of that procedure is the prep you have to do the day before. After they check out the plumbing, you wake up happy as a clam, not an enemy in the world, at least if you're anything like me. I was happy the whole day after I got home. And felt lighter...

Sis has volunteered to keep that day open and to help out if needed.  She is a real sweetie.  If I have to leave early to go pick up Phil and take him home before Son is finished, she will go get him and bring him home.  I am, though, hoping not to have to bother her.

Yes Taps you don't need this extra pain, but of course it is amazing the resource that remains when it is desperately needed.
