It's easy to tell if you keep track of the page view numbers and compare with numbers of comments. I always have more people reading than commenting and that's nice.

I run to everything you write, it is part of my day, My blogit friends. And writing is just as important for me as reading...my numbers have dropped back drastically too and I believe Like our Adnohr, some people are reading but not commenting. Perhaps Blogit needs to let us know how many reads we get as well as comments each post.

Well Taps the membership is quite small these days one or two newbies never comment,but I still like to encourage them occasionally. The trouble is it takes such a time to blog and comment and I really cannot understand those who do and never receive a comment at all. If I write a story once it falls below 4 comments, I usually give it up, It does not do to write too much I feel or a kind of saturation point is reached. Sadly as you know the cash is divided from each person so if I comment on 10 blogs a day for 28 days . Well we need our mathematician Naut to work out the percentage. About a farthing a go in English money I expect. Once it was worth a packet of pins, have you got plenty?

I remember last year things slowed to a crawl. This year at this time, while slower than earlier this year, is way ahead of last year at this time. My guess is that things will pick back up in January.

'Tis the season, I suppose, people are busy winter prepping
and the days are cool enough to be outdoors. No time for reading. It's a lull. I was beginning to wonder if I'd lost my touch. Much better for my self-image to think it's just a lull.

Here, and reading.....just very busy with trying to get 2014 taxes done for myself and my mom and p/w is scattered everywhere and I've been put on stand-by so my procrastination has nailed me again!!! Anyway, I'm flitting in and out and sorry I've not taken time to comment everytime. I love your writing....always have, and I will always read, so please, please....always write!

I have noticed the same thing - my readership too has dwindled! Of course I am not surprised in my case - people just don't want to hear of all the nasty stuff I'm serving up, LOL, but in your case I really don't understand it! But you can rest assured - you will always have this reader...
