Only if the settlement is such that one of the parties can no longer afford to buy smokes. But panhandling should bring in enough for a pack a day in some parts of the world. Here in Ontario, where taxes on cigarettes have gone through the roof you might have to do with maye a half pack, if you want to grab the odd beer as well. You won't have to worry too much about food, though - there's always Sally Ann, they've got pretty good grub, I've been told...

Don't know bill but if only only one smokes, it is not very pleasant for the other, unless of course the other has no sense of smell.
