Yes it is a job to know where they come from once I had two or three which I fed on cat food ,but they just vanished for no reason. Very risky on the roads.

I know very few men over 30 who still have all of their hair. It seems like men are getting bald very early these years.

Poor Hedgie... Marika has just released another fostered one into the wide world. Luckily their acres are far off roads. I think she has a couple more in her care, in hutches.

You spotted it Ceil, she was not as reckless as some are.

Yes some of the Zinnias were a bit of a failure this year, I planted a batch in the tunnel and they were all dwarf ones. The best ones I find are hybrids, but we do need a sunny summer. I found a poor little dead hedgehog this morning half grown, I don't know what killed it, but I think it may have come under my gate, as usual a couple of those horrible bugs were attached.

I know we would have to have reduced the rent . They are nice if one can get the right ones, I try for these if our weather is fine they do well.

the flowers, the reminisences and then that delightful poem. Seems I was much luckier with the Internet friend than poor Ruth. What if I had got here and Wiley had cold feet and didn't meet me? I would have had a look around Canada I suppose and perhaps gone on to the UK.

I can just see that army clothing hanging in the attic. LOL.Off in the dusty half dark.

Your zinnias outshine my very dull yellow ones. And fall is claiming the morning glories now, all the leaves are going dull and the flowers aren't really trying very hard.
