Nautikos

Uh, okay....whatever you say.  There are no intergalactic cops, right?  So, no speed limits, speed bumps...no need for GPS devices, either....no signage clutter(billboards, etc.).  But, I've read there's getting to be so many satellites and other clutter from scientists and communication outfits that things are getting a bit crowded...of coarse, I'm sure that's just in our general neighborhood, so to speak...not waaaaaay up there, right?  I'm sure by now you are wondering what on earth I am blathering away about.....well, I'm trying to find something about all of this to hook my interest beyond the author....and you know what a leadfoot I have....so my imagination was off, driving through the Milky Way....zoom, zoom.....

Well Naut Chumpet keeps on worrying me. He knows there is nothing faster than the speed of light. Supposing two spaceships traveled towards each other at say 95% speed of light. Now the pilot of (Space Ship A) gets his new instrument to focus on (Space Ship B) as they pass. 'Crikey' he says, well in a different language of course. 'Be jabbers

We must have broken the light barrier'his measurement shows they flash past each other faster than he could measure it and yet nothing is faster than the speed of light. Is there a new dimension Chumpet wonders. Or something like that. I think that's what he means.

It is fascinating all there is to consider. It is amazing more scientists's heads do not explode.

If science didn't make you wonder and debate, it wouldn't be science.  I used to jog, only the faster I ran the slower my hubby ran (yeah it was that long ago), and the longer I ran, the slower I got.  Then we would sit on the porch swing and gasp and pant.

I got lost at the end. The faster I move the slower....Naw don't make sense to this old gal but something I do like. A year that is double one of our years. That would make me a mere 35...just a Chicky babe
