Re: ChiffChaff

Nothing I can think of Bro. Only that you must nearly understand them by now-, if that is remotely possible..

Re: Ciel

Yes I will torture him with that joke. We never think of that when we are young Ciel, the feeling is too sweet.

For Arthur:

How do you get a lion through a mouse hole?

You can't.

That was my elder daughter's first riddle, age 5.

Love the sweet peas!

Your poem reminds me how connection and affection can come to be measured by risk factors instead of potential for joy. That's life, lived, does that, I guess, for most of us.

Re: CCT

Cheers Naut, It was like a lady said to me,'I do miss my husband.' I thought we don't miss much around here, I don't want to go the same way.

CCT

I'd give that woman with three dead husbands a very wide berth - I bet you there's something aboiut her, LOL...And the poem's last couple of lines suddenly make the whole appear in a different light - very well done...

That is an interesting perspective from the woman. It seems like she figures she is going to have multiple husbands...Oh, yes, love is definitely not like an evergreen.
