me too but it is great to be a writer for if I do have to go to something, I sit there turning people into spys and murderers and victims and all sorts of fun stuff. Then I go home and no one asks me to anything again for ages thankgoodness.

Sometimes that happens to me too. I still go to some social gatherings, but it's a rarity that I really, really enjoy it.

and I really loathe when you speak and someone looks straight through you as thought you don't exist...actually I never go to social gatherings anymore.
