Re: Re: Kabu
At least the wasps are dead...double dead it seems so that makes up for a job half done. LOL

Re: Kabu
I forgot to tell you how the wasp nest in the porch-light fixture went. I guess the maintenance man was busy busy busy because he did not come, and he did not come, and he did not come. So, I went out an bought a can of Raid for wasps & hornets that said it would kill the entire nest and kill wasps on contact. I got myself ready and sprayed up close and directly into the fixture and the big mean wasps dropped like flies....a lot of them...all over the porch. I did it again just for good measure. I never have cleaned the fixture or removed the wasp nest remains or put a new lightbulb in. How is that for a job half-done?

Yes be careful Taps once I approached a wasps nest with a little can of spray. The little varmints started to come out of the nest in a swarm, luckily I was a fast runner.

A bit of caution is in order here. He can delete the wasps
with one good spray from the can, but the debris still has to be removed so the wiring can be fixed. It's lucky you weren't stung.

Wise decision! I've been stung by both wasps and bees, and while I am not allergic to either, I found the wasp sting much the worse...

absolutely. It is a really cute light but you don't want wasps everywhere and especially if you have allergies you don't need to cope with stings. Yes let the maintenance man do the work. Good luck and will be eager to read how it all went.
