I am always thinking of the reader. How to make them laugh, cry, and yes even how to torment people and I mean that in a goodnatured, playful way. As for killing off main characters I don't do that unless the plot demands it, which it rarely does.

Yes very good you are twisting and turning your ideas, I think it is always best to try and please the reader. I always hate it when a heroine or hero dies on the last page. In fact I would never read another book written by that Author.
