It is amazing just how fast Europe is falling. Hopefully, we in the United States and quickly learn from the European example.

Years ago, my cousin who is just a wee bit younger than I, went to Stuttgart to study art. She came home three years later bringing a husband named Gunter who was from Munich but had also been studying in Stuttgart. They have lived here ever since, and have made yearly trips to see his parents (who are now long gone) and his sister and brother. He has always loved Munich, skiing the Bavarian Alps and loves going back. I have not talked with him since this thing of the refugees has overtaken the news, but I am feeling quite sorry for him, and wondering how he is taking it all, and when or if he will be going again anytime soon.
