Fascinating! There's a lot of research evidence suggesting that differences in the father-child relationship has more of an impact on the child's development than those in the relationship between the mother and the child...Most important: The fathers warmth and supportiveness...

Fathers are certainly a mixed bag--from non-existant to a wonderman range. I was one of the fortunate ones. Loved reading this post.
