Don't know, perhaps it was all in his mind. I think he may have meant it as a compliment. I read only recently that according to a survey, most married couples do not indulge very often after a while. Well it was in England. If he had asked directly that would have been awful.

I wouldn't see MT as a friend after that remark. It was crude and unnecessary and in my opinion he was hoping for sex, probably is jealous of your friendship with his wife too.
