Ah, yes - Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, and I love them both, as I love all opera, especially the Italian bel canto but also the French and German ones...But what, dear lady, did you mean by your question in Science class? I wasn't 'trying to say' more than there was - just the facts, ma'am, LOL...

I had a boyfriend once who tried to teach me about opera,
turned out he'd been an aspiring performer who just didn't have the necessary range, and I learned a bit about the craft behind the performance. I do like classical music as instrumental, and some singers just wow me, but it's not my first choice - kinda got hooked on blues and jazz in my formative years.
