I, of coarse, had to think of Jeff Goldblumb and his stupid movie, "The Fly".....you know how a fly digests his food.......gives me the shivers just to imagine.....and I c-a-n-n-o-t unsee it now!

Well Naut evidently prior to 1626 there was a word Nidorous meaning burnt animal substances. So perhaps that was scrapped and your word became vogue. I suppose we have grown more to the point and would just say (bloody stink) today. Keep them coming.

Reading this makes me feel there is a word for seemingly everything. It is amazing we are still adding words to the language.
