- Go to Response-to-Comments Day: Multi-cult and Muslim Terror...II
A very great thorough analysis on how it all fits together.

Horrid and sickening examples of a twisted hi jacking/interpretation
or whatever one wishes to call it; I and/or others if so inclined, could list bunches of horrors committed by Western sanctioned policies of torture upon Muslim peoples, many of whom were swept up only in the name of revenge - single person and mass varieties, by error and a proven mistaken belief in torture as a tool of preventing further violence, but it continued and possibly still does, despite that; the atrocities of IDF forces in civilian zones, mental destruction leading to suicides wrought by church leaders abusing their young, very young charges.
Ignorance in my eyes is a narrowed eye focused on only one strand of humanity's weakenesses and woes,
when the whole of us is in fact a multi layered and inter connected complexity of mortal and moral failings and successes - mental illness, violent ugliness, the beauty of forgiveness and of defying jaded expectations such as Israeli Jewish citizens speaking out against needless slaughter of Palestinian innocents, the actions of Lassana Bathily - a young Muslim male who hid and saved Jewish customers in a Jewish store that was under attack by Islamic crazies; religious insanity, faith based goodness, scientific and fact based rightness, cops who are hair trigger on their weapons in minority areas, cops who are trying to save drug addicts, regardless of anything but their need, with rehab. instead of arrest and jail.
There is a lot missed in our human-ness by not counter balancing the acts of depraved individuals - who do have an ability to hate, hurt and maim in a togetherness of - birds of a feather, etc. - with the realities of the bigger picture, which I myself choose to strive to see; I always have to some degree because that is what feels right to me; more so even now. I understand and accept that you do not and I know you have your reasons which feel just as right. My position is not any more or less than yours in terms of any kind of superiority, my well pondered opinion, of course; we disagree because we are different.
Singing to the choir either way can become a bit pointless...
Well, glad I made you giggle and thanks for the shout-out; my work here is done!...:)

Nautikos
Very clear and concise explanation, but still there will be those who do not see. The only way I know to explain it is that is something around that saying here ....that I think could apply in general anywhere....that if you aren't a Liberal when you are in your 20's then you have no heart; and if you aren't a Conservative by your 40's then you have no brain.
I wouldn't be so harsh and just say that there are many who are just politically stuck in their 20's, just as I have observed there are many who have been somewhat stuck there in their approach to life skills -they have let other people carry the weight in their families, or on their jobs; they have stayed permanently childlike in one way or the other.
Our society has engendered this behavior more and more, for more and more people. It used to be only the wealthy that got to make these choices.....now, political policies have made them available to more and more....and stress and depression have made them attractive to more and more....well, I could go on and on.

I can't really add anything more to your posts on Islam dear Naut. I get it! But I am not a crusader.
