I just know that with all that color, that cafe would have to be a success. wish I could have visited it myself.
LOng time ago I had a coffee shop and each of my kids did some waiting on tables on a Saturday morning. Australian's don't tip but my kids would make good pocket money from tips anyway.

As an adult he loved getting in the kitchen and making something special, but only when the mood struck him. He also loved my mother's cooking which had a Czech-ness about it.

That was over a hundred years before the Junior (literally) Cheeseburgers at fast food restaurants. And amazingly the tips were better in 1907 love.
