I miss Themestream, too.
Themestream really influenced a lot of us. I liked the rather freewheeling setup - no editorial pressure, no need to kiss up to administrators, free of the confusing structure of The Vines. (I tried writing for The Vines and could never get the hang of the structure.)
The info I have on Connie Small is ancient, as I state in the blog. Cassy's death really hit her hard, and writing on TS and WrittenByMe really helped her. It also helped a lot of us, because she seemed so genuine and willing to share.
