- Go to Multiculturalism and the Rise of Domestic Muslim Terrorism - II
Like you, I do not see there being an alliance between Islam and the Left. For whatever reason, the Left is oblivious or ignores the obvious.

Not that you necessarily want it, but.....
My frank opinion of this writer is that he is attempting to till the soil for a more profound division amongst people; why that is so could perhaps be a hope to sow the seeds of distrust and fear toward religions, namely Islam, that he and his believers feel are a menace.
A lot of how multiculturalism is interpreted is based on personal perspective -the black, unarmed teenager viciously attacked out of proportion to his supposed offense, even murdered in many recent cases, by a Caucasian cop - these have nothing to do with religion and a moderate-to-zero degree of cultural difference cause; my negative interactions on a reservation because of my native appearance - nothing to do with religion, but yes, it was a cultural issue in some sense but mostly a powerfully racist domination held over from the last century - theft crimes: non religious and cultural as are most drug abuse/illegal drug activity and rape crimes in the U.S., crimes of passion another example. What is dangerous, violent and potentially violent producing, what is harming the citizenry the most in this country: mental health problems, drug addictions, poverty, greed, narcissism. The influx of foreign workers so warmly embraced by profit driven businesses doesn't cause extremism of any kind here; if it did, that would have been increasingly obvious by now and it is not; the language barriers can be frustrating and maddening, but hardly lethal. And the entitlements illegals may receive should be paid for by the businesses who hire illegal workers and as a matter of fact, also legal workers who they refuse to pay adequate wages to; hell yes I would pay more for my phone, tablet, salad, etc. if doing so enabled a hard worker to live. Sorry, getting off topic a bit...look we all are different in myraid ways, THANK GOODNESS! - be it ethnicity, cultural origins and choices, race, religion, gender, personal preferences for anything and everything and should all have the freedom to live life in all aspects as we choose as long as it doesn't impinge upon and/or hurt the rights of others.

Well, you must know that it is already with only the greatist trepidation that I stay with you on this subject in this post. It definitely is not entertaining in any way. But, I do hang on though it fiercely bothers me at times.
