I have yet to see the Blue Angels in action, even though they have performed close to where I live in Baltimore and Annapolis.
You do sum it up well.

The Blue Angels are amazing. They used to perform over Lake
Washington in Seattle during the annual Seafair celebration, and when they'd make a low pass, they'd set off car alarms all over the city. Your poetry is very apt and evocative...
