- Go to It's All About Living Off The Grid - or not
I'm afraid I don't blame Terry at all. I have dropped off of the grid in so many places just because of all that kind of falderol.

It's no mystery why some folks go off-grid
having lost all trust in the owners and managers of the grid, and in the fallacy that The Grid is the only way to do life.

Reminds me of so many stories my dad has told me about lack of support for music in our schools. Music is just as important to man kind as all the other subjects.

What a sad loss for all, and just because of bureaucratic rigidity! You enjoyed his playing, and I'm sure he enjoyed entertaining you...My heart goes out to Terry, especially since I share his aversion for forms of any kind, even though I'm not living 'off the grid.' (There is an irony in the fact that in the past I have been involved in developing very elaborate qestionnaires for survey research purposes, LOL)...

Sad if he just doesn't want to contribute even sadder still if he's afraid to communicate his information.

yet if the Gov. takes on the financial responsibility completely, they will want way more paperwork, and accreditation and payed emploees everywhere instead of volunteers and on and on until finally they shut it down because they have to make Gov. cuts. ...i must be feeling grumpy.
