Re: Re: Kabu
He's worthy
Of the praise
Even though they want to remove
The 10 commandments and take bibles away
The Lord is my
Shepherd I shall not want
He maketh me to lay
Down in green pastures
He leadeth me
Besides the still waters
He restoreth my soul
Leadeth me in the past
Of righteousness for his sake
Yea though I walk through the
Valley of the death
I shall fear no evil

That is why Bible readers should be attuned enough to know what they are reading. I did not take to the NIV in the beginning. These are the ones I like: I like KJV simply the way I like Shakespeare for the beauty of the language. That is not what I read the Bible for so I like the NKJ and I like the NLT also in some places where the same material is made so much clearer. For instance I like to read Proverbs daily... I want them for the meat of the subject matter and as clearly as possible for fast reading and understanding so I choose NLT for that. But there are many exceptions to NIV in my mind. I never used it after first examination. Thank you for your knowledge of the Bible and bringing it out front.

Aren't we thankful that God has power over all, however, at the end the FALSE PROPHET, ANTI CHRIST AND SATAN sure do pull a lot of horror over the world. Also either of these showing so boldly is some hint of the times.

Kabu

Kabu darling the Greek only applies to the New Testament the Old Testament was written in Hebrew. There are all sorts of methods available to translate perfectly the Word. Translation is very different than changing the content of the world.

actually the only way to really read the Bible is to go back to the earliest Greek writings. Each new translation has moved the meaning of the words just slightly. I like the King James version myself.

God has power over the pope.  He will take care of the matter.
