yes do. My sis has done a lot of work on Ancestry in Australia. found out heaps more than I ever knew.

There were some dominating women in that time as there are now Taps. The girls parents were evidently under the thrall of the old lady. I expect she ruled them all, what partents would allow their daughter to be turned away like that. I have known several woman who were really feared by their children, it comes as no surprise to me.

Pity enough to go all around, but some people are just pig-headed.
It's hard enough these days to maintain close bonds when every one has her own life to manage, her own everyday troubles to overcome...

how terrible it is when you become dead to family. What a terrible waste what hardened hearts like that can ever know how to love again.
Ancestry. com...if someone in your family belongs could rectify that family stupidity.
